Welcome to What’s Up? Wednesday!
Thanksgiving has arrived. The kids are off for the whole week. Family is going to be in and out of the house over the next week, but this week is another weeks of great reading, watching and listening.
If you haven’t seen one of my previous posts, What’s Up? Wednesday is a weekly series of posts highlighting either:
- blog posts or news that I’ve read this week
- something that I’ve watched on Netflix or “regular” TV
- a podcast worth checking out.
Volume 004: I need a vacation from my vacation
Another week of organizing my thoughts and the blog. I’ve gotten my planner habit figured out, but I really need to add in my blogging responsibilities to that since I really need to make a push in 2017 to not drop any balls.
Parents urged to stop pretending Father Christmas is real is a disturbing pieces. Supposedly lying this way breaks the trust of your kids? I personally think it’s that last shred of childhood for some parents and it’s. Way to connect with their kids. But what do I know? I’m just a mom.
I didn’t realize that my movie choices were so themed this week, but I guess I subliminally need some inspiration from some movies.
A Major League rookie pitcher loses control over his pitching and is sent down to the minor leagues, where he begins sessions with an unorthodox sports psychologist.
Prefontaine is a 1997 American biographical film chronicling the life of the American long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine and his death at age 24.
Another week of Optimal Living Daily podcasts came through the headphones. Episodes really are in the moment learning when I’m slightly distracted, but if I hear something life changing I’ll be sure to pass it along.
What are you paying attention to this week? Anything good? Let me know!
